His Excellency Mr. Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji has been appointed as the Chairman of Qatar Tourism, by Amiri Decision No. (85 of 2023), effective from October 22, 2023. Mr. Saad bin Ali Al Kharji has extensive experience gained through important administrative positions in the country. Prior to his current role, HE Mr. Saad was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of Qatar Tourism on July 4, 2023, by Amiri Decision No. (50 of 2023).

HE Mr. Saad also served as Director of the Prime Minister’s Office and Director of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in March 2023. In addition, HE held the position of Director of the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office and Director of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2016 and served as the Director of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of State for International Cooperation Affairs from 2014.

In 2008, HE Mr. Saad served as the Secretary to the Director of the Office of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. In 2004, he was appointed as the Director of the Office of the President of the National Council of Culture. HE Mr. Saad graduated from Qatar University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
